Passage Ste Croix, Nantes (44) - France

An artist well known by the Nantes population, Fanny Alloing began molding bodies after the rough death of a close relative. She takes imprints of people, keeping between space and time the track of their presence. This is her way of approaching smoothly the mystery of death.
The suspensions of white sculptures, some dark silhouettes burnt with fire, both lead the visitor with a silent choreography, up to the place where it displays mysterious metamorphoses.
Disappearing, Being born. Fanny Alloing knows how to stage bodies, but will she tell us something about our souls?
